To clean mesh sneakers or running shoes like Flyknit, Hoka, Salomon, or On, start by brushing off any loose dirt or debris with a hogs hair Delicates Cleaning Brush. Apply a small amount of our Ready-to-Use Foam Cleaner to the brush, and gently scrub in the direction of the knit pattern. Avoid harsh scrubbing to avoid damaging the delicate material. Use a microfiber towel to remove any remaining foam solution, and let the shoes air dry.

The Delicates Cleaning Brush is made of ethically-sourced hog or boar hair brushes. It is effective at removing dirt from shoes and hats without causing damage, and is often used for cleaning delicate materials such as leather, suede, or mesh knit.  Run it across your hand and you’ll find the bristles are simultaneously soft and stiff, and are often used to gently exfoliate skin.
